  • In the Nursery Class at Gelasti Fraoula, children see the world as an endless playground. In a warm and encouraging environment, teachers build trusting relationships, giving children the confidence to explore, learn, and develop naturally and joyfully.

      They develop independence through exploring the world around them and building problem-solving skills.

    • Cognitive Development

      They start to think both critically and creatively.

    • Language Development

      They use sounds, expressions, body language, and eventually speech, while learning to respond to and understand others.

    • Physical Development

      They practise coordinating and controlling both large and fine motor movements, while also learning about health and safety principles.

    • Social-Emotional Development

      They become aware of their own feelings and learn to form relationships with others, including family, friends, and community members.

    • Creative Development

      They express themselves through art, music, and theatrical play, nurturing imagination, aesthetic appreciation, and the ability to create and experiment with new ideas.
