Our school, recognising its responsibility to the infants and toddlers it hosts and provides meals for, is fully committed to ensuring the hygiene and quality of the food it purchases, handles, and serves. By strictly adhering to Good Hygiene Practices, we have established and implement standard procedures based on HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles, in full compliance with Articles 5 and 6 of Ministerial Decree 47829/2017 (Government Gazette 2161/A).
A healthy, balanced diet is vital for children’s proper development. At The Smiling Strawberry, our menu is designed in collaboration with our paediatrician and prepared daily in our kitchen using only fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Beyond nutritional value, we also focus on the educational aspect of mealtimes. These times are a valuable opportunity for children to practise independence, learn to make healthy choices, and develop fundamental skills such as using cutlery.
Our goal is to foster healthy eating habits that will stay with them throughout their lives.
